We provide you with a motor vehicle full of petrol and ready to go! Just like AVIS, HERTZ or BUDGET, you come to our depot, fill in the paperwork then drive-away!

We have a variety of vehicle types to suit your needs:-

• Cars with a left-foot accelerator
• Mini-vans with a ramp for wheelchair access
• Mini-buses with a hoist for wheelchair access

WHEELCHAIR RESTRAINTS AND SEATBELT

For those travelling in their wheelchair, scooter or tubchair, an approved 4-point restraint system and seatbelt are included. Extra restraints can also be supplied to tie-down any additional equipment being transported (surcharges apply).

24 HOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

All of our vehicles are covered under NRMA (Autoclub) roadside assistance with priority cover. At DHV, we do everything we can to ensure your journey is hassle free, so you can spend more time enjoying your destination or event.

SECURE PARKING AVAILABLE

Rest assured knowing that your own vehicle will be safely locked-up on our premises while you are renting from us. Unit complex gates are closed at night to provide security for your vehicle.

FREE CUSTOMER PICK-UP SERVICE FROM OUR NEAREST TRAIN STATION – MULGRAVE NSW

If you choose to commute via train to collect one of our vehicles, we can arrange for a staff member to be waiting for you with an accessible vehicle to bring you back to our office. Just let us know when making your booking and we can arrange this service for you.

RANGE OF STEERING WHEEL 'SPINNER KNOBS' AVAILABLE

When renting one of our cars fitted with hand controls or a left foot accelerator, you may require a spinner knob- which fits to the steering wheel- to allow for single hand steering. Also known as Tripin spinners or Cuddle knobs; they can be a round knob, a U-handle or even a quad-fork. Speak to us about your needs and preferences at the time of booking and we can arrange this device to be fitted for your comfort.

ADDITIONAL WHEELCHAIR RESTRAINTS

More than one set of restraints (4 points with a seat belt) can be equipped for those travelling with two wheelchair occupants or extra equipment.

GPS / NAVMAN / TOMTOM RENTAL

Don't get lost! We have GPS's available for hire with any of our vehicles to ensure smooth travelling. Please request at time of booking to secure your device.

VEHICLE DELIVERY & COLLECTION SERVICE

We can arrange to meet you with your vehicle at Sydney Airport or another preferred location, saving you time and hassle. Our delivery service includes a demonstration on vehicle controls, ramp/ hoist operation, wheelchair tie-down procedures, and a smile!

TRUCKING VEHICLES TO ANOTHER CITY OR INTERSTATE

We can arrange for our vehicles to be transported all over Australia via road freight. Our vehicle depot is located in Sydney NSW, however, if you wish to commence your journey in another location we can have a vehicle waiting for you when you arrive.
